9 shooters took part in this single class event on an overcast August morning, competing for the Jersey Pistol Association Insinger Trophy for Sport Pistol, or 25m Pistol as it is now known. The match consists of 60 shots – 30 in 5 minute series of 5 shots and 30 in rapid series, where the target appears for 3 seconds 5 times.
It was a close fought match at the top end of the scores, with Greg Guida taking second place by only 3 points. However, Chris Le Moeligou built on his narrow lead from the first half, finishing 15 points clear at the top to take the trophy.
