The following are the rules, regulations, and course of fire governing 1500 PPC competitions held by the Jersey Pistol Club.
| Pistols: |
- Any .revolver, .32 cal or larger. Self-loading pistols not permitted.

| Sights: |
- Any metal sights which may be adjustable, any colour.
- Orthoptics not allowed.
|
| Grips: |
- Orthopaedic-type grips are not allowed in this competition.
|
| Safety: |
- Any safety that is fitted must operate.
|
| Trigger: |
- Single action pull must exceed 2.5 lbs.
|
| Positions: |
- Standing.
- Kneeling.
- Sitting (both buttocks on the ground).
- One or two hands may be used to hold the revolver.
- No part of the revolver may touch the barricade.
- Barricades must be used as cover when used.

| Ammunition: |
- 150 rounds to be supplied by the competitor, hand or factory-loaded.
- All loading from rounds contained in competitor’s pocket, cartridge belt, mechanical loaders or belt pouches.
- No high-speed or magnum ammunition permitted.

| Targets: |
- PS 14 with PS14A centres
- One (1) target per competitor, per match or stage.
|
| Shooting Distances: |
- 10 yards.
- 15 yards.
- 25 yards.
- 50 yards.
|
| Rules: |
- British 1500 Association and NRA of America Rules apply.
|
| Course of Fire: |
- Match I
- Standing – Twelve (12) shots in twenty (20) seconds at ten (10) yards.
- Standing – Twelve (12) shots in twenty (20) seconds at fifteen (15) yards.
- Match II
- All at twenty-five (25) yards.
- Total time ninety (90) seconds.
- Kneeling – Six (6) shots.
- Standing – Six (6) shots, left hand, behind barricade.
- Standing – Six (6) shots, right hand, behind barricade.
- Match III
- All at fifty (50) yards.
- Total time one hundred and sixty-five (165) seconds.
- Sitting – Six (6) shots.
- Kneeling – Six (6) shots, barricade may be used.
- Standing – Six (6) shots, left hand, behind barricade.
- Standing – Six (6) shots, right hand, behind barricade.
- Match IV
- All at twenty-five (25) yards.
- Standing – Twelve (12) shots in thirty-five (35) seconds.
- Standing – Twelve (12) shots in thirty-five (35) seconds.
- Match V – Stage 1
- Standing – Twelve (12) shots in twenty (20) seconds, at ten (10) yards.
- Match V – Stage 2
- All at twenty-five (25) yards.
- Total time ninety (90) seconds.
- Kneeling – Six (6) shots.
- Standing – Six (6) shots, left hand, behind barricade.
- Standing – Six (6) shots, right hand, behind barricade.
- Match V – Stage 3
- All at fifty (50) yards.
- Total time one hundred and sixty-five (165) seconds.
- Sitting – Six (6) shots.
- Kneeling – Six (6) shots, barricade may be used.
- Standing – Six (6) shots, left hand, behind barricade.
- Standing – Six (6) shots, right hand, behind barricade.
- Match V – Stage 4
- Standing – Six (6) shots in twelve (12) seconds at twenty-five (25) yards.

| Notes: |
- Only conventional waist-belt holsters with no ties are permitted.
- All timings include reloading.
- Where specified, pistols must change hands, or penalties may be imposed.
- Where specified, barricades must be used, or penalties may be imposed.
- All series start with pistol loaded and holstered.
- Once loaded and holstered it is presumed that the competitor is ready.
- Except for the 50 yard stages, all shooting must be double-action only.
