The JPA Channel Islands Open took place from the 2nd to the 5th of June this year and the sun was out for a busy weekend of shooting at the JPC ranges, incorporating fullbore and smallbore pistol events. Shooters from Jersey and the UK competed for medals across several disciplines, and the event proved to be highly enjoyable for everyone involved.
Thanks to everyone who took part and helped out on the ranges, in particular to Peter Le Marinel for running the air pistol event and to our guest ISSF judge Barbara Barber and to her husband Robert and Gary Walton for ensuring that targets were scored, patched and faced efficiently and all the matches ran (mostly) without a hitch! We hope to see everyone back for the Jersey Open in September.
