11 shooters took to the Bob Blake range today to compete for the class A Messervy Cup and class B Standard Handgun Trophy in the sport pistol match, a discipline combining precision and rapid shooting across 60 shots at a distance of 25m.
First and second place in class A were closely contended, with Chris Le Moeligou taking the precision half of the match by a few points, but Robert Carroll stayed consistent in the rapid section of the match, taking victory by 2 points. In class B, Jeannette de Gruchy came out on top in both halves of the match, with an impressive couple of rapid series securing her name on the silverware.
