NSRA Slowfire Aggregate Rules and Course of Fire

The following are the rules, regulations, and course of fire governing the NSRA Slowfire Aggregate Pistol Competitions held by the Jersey Pistol Club.

Pistols:
  • Any .22 calibre pistol or revolver with a 2.0 lbs. trigger.
Sights:
  • Any metal sights which may be adjustable, any colour.
Grips:
  • Orthopaedic-type grips are allowed in this competition.
Safety:
  • Any safety that is fitted must operate.
Trigger:
  • Must be capable of lifting a 2.0 lbs. weight.
Positions:
  • Only one hand may be used to hold or steady the pistol.
Ammunition:
  • One hundred and twenty (120) rounds to be supplied by the competitor.
Targets:
  • PL15 targets at 20 yards
  •  PL6 targets at 50 yards
Shooting Distances:
  • 20 yards
  • 50 yards
Rules:
  • NSRA Rules will be used with the exception of trigger weight.
Course of Fire:
  • One hundred (100) shots at twenty (20) and fifty (50) yards
    • 20 yards: Ten (10) shots in ten (10) minutes, shot five (5) times, with ten (10) sighting shots.
    •  50 yards: Ten (10) shots in ten (10) minutes, shot five (5) times, with ten (10) sighting shots.
Notes:
  • The targets used are a little different to the ones that most shooters are used to, and any committee member will be pleased to show you the type of target used.
  • These targets will only be available for competition use, due to cost and difficulty in obtaining them
  • This event is not part of any other Aggregate or Championship
